Happiness

Good morning! Thank you for stopping by. More sunshine and warm days are ahead for the next few days. I love these Indian Summer Days!
Did get some stamping done yesterday among other things. The message on this card goes out to each and everyone of you! These stamps are from Hero Arts. Have had them awhile, first time I have used them lol. Very simple and quick. Don't think an explaination is necessary.
Enjoy your day and I hope you will stop by again tomorrow.

Autumn

Good afternoon! Got a late start today. Was wide awake at 2:30 am! Got back to sleep around 4:30, then did not wake up till 8:30! Really messes up my day when that happens. Oh well, I don't really have a schedule to stick to, so it really doesn't matter that I am running behind.
Got the idea for today's post off the Splitcoaststampers website.
I used the All Natural Set by SU, CS & ink is Pumpkin Spice, More Mustard, and Always Artichoke. The autumn stamp is from Hero Arts. I like the way it turned out, very simple and quick to make.
Got a lot left on my list of things to do so I had better get a move on. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you do the same tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your day and your evening.

Boo

Good morning! Thanks for stopping by.

Was sad to hear about the death of Paul Newman. Another legend gone.

Went to the Fall Festival last night with Bob & Judy. Bob, Dwight, & I ate Rocky Mountain Oysters, catfish, & fried pickles! Judy did not want any part of the RMO and of course she doesn't like fish, she did try the pickles, though. She settled for the tried and true pepperoni pizza. Then we listened to Exit 42 play. I highly recommend going, there is lot's to do and some really cool vendor's.

Don't forget to stop by Becky's today from 1-4, she is having a sale as well as new class projects.

Well I had better get a move on, am going into work for a while, then off to Becky's, then to the Fuoco Motors Car Show downtown. Hope you will get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and have some fun!

Time for Sharing

Good morning! This weather we are having is absolutely wonderful! I am lovin' it. With all the goings on in the country least we can revel in this beautiful area we live in!

Lot's of things happening this weekend here in the valley. We can't complain about nothin' to do. The Fruita Fall Festival, the Fuoco Motors car show downtown, and I just heard about the Greek Festival at the Greek Orthadox Church on 12th and Horizon. And let's not forget about the Air Show! Whew, lot's to do and the weather promises to be very nice! And of course if you need a little roadtrip or some picture taking, check out the changing of the leaves in the high country!

I have been having sooo much fun revisiting my stamps! This stamp is from the Sweet & Simple SU set. The autumn greeting is from Hero Arts. I was inspired by a card Deb had done. I liked the way it turned out, hope you do as well!

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous Friday!

Autumn Greetngs

Good morning to all and thank you for stopping by!

Hard to believe we are 2 days into Fall! Not to mention that September is nearly over!

Another fun and safe trip to the Lake. The only injury to report was Raelyn ( my 3 yr old neice) got a splinter in her toe. Took Brenda and Liz both to get it out. Raelyn was not happy, and she let the entire Lake know about it! The girl does have a set of lungs on her and she knows how to use them! Wonder where she gets that from lol! The weather was beautiful. Upper 80's during the day and upper 50's at night! We camped in Bullfrog Bay with a total of 35! It was a blast! Everyone got along so well, and even the kids got along very well!

Today's post is one that I copied from Becky. The paper is from CTMH as well as the silk leaf.

Hope you will stop by again tomorrow! Have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy this weather we are having!

Celebrate

Good morning! At least I think it still is. Am getting a late start today am fighting a sinus headache.
This will be my last post, till Sept 24th. Next week I have lots of goings on so something has got to give to make time for it all. On Tuesday I have our monthly "Shoebox club" ( of which I still have not made a project for). Wednesday I volunteer at the Homeless Shelter and we are going to Lake Powell for a long weekend. We are leaving on Fri, the 19th and will return on Mon the 22nd. Hope you will check back in on the 24th.
Now about this card, I copied it from Becky. She used different stamps I was able to come up with the same kind in my collection. The paper is from Basic Gray. I really like the way it turned out.
I have a birthday party to go to at 2PM. The last one of the "Magnificent 7" turned 50 on Sept 16th and we are getting together to celebrate!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will again on Sept 24th and thereafter. Enjoy the rest of your day and have a great week!

Our Love

Good morning and thank you for stopping by!
More from Summer by the Sea and CTMH. Today is our 20th wedding anniversary! This is the card I made for Dwight. He really liked it, and insisted I post it today. Isn't that nice! Don't have much planned, just out to dinner and spend a quiet evening at home with the dogs & cat.
Getting late better get my rear in gear and moving toward work. Have a great day, and I hope you will stop again tomorrow!

Dreams

Good morning. Wow, that thunderstorm was something last night, had us up for a while. Guess I should have stayed up, but instead went back to sleep, then did not want to get up again.

Was playing around last night and came up with this simple card. Stamps by SU, Summer by the Sea. (We still have a couple weeks left). I really like the way it turned!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Whisper Love

Good Morning! This was a layout Deb did in Shoebox last month. I used some patterned paper from CTMH and the leaves are from CTMH as well.
The stamp is from Hero Arts, too bad it did not photograph very well, it says falling leaves whisper love. I tried three times and this was the best I could do.
Thank you for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday, hope you will stop by again tomorrow!

Beauty Surrounds Us

Good Morning! I am back and rested from Rock Jam! Took the motorhome out there and stayed, which was nice, however we stayed in standard camping and did not get much sleep! So I spent yesterday trying to catch up as well as "heal" up! This ole' gal partied like she was 25 LOL! Next year think I will stay in "quiet camping". My BFF, Mary Lou, her daughter Brooke ( the one that just turned 30) and her Husband Mike went with me. Not my DH's thing, and that is ok. The entertainment was great and I was most surprised by Kid Rock's perfromance, He was awesome! Very talented!
The butterfly and word stamp used for this card are from Penny Black and the fern stamp by Hero Arts. I simply use black cs for the base and a piece of basic gray paper to stamp on, very quick and simple.
Well got a whole list to do, so better get a move on. Thank you for stopping by !
Have a marvelous Monday and I hope you will stop by tomorrow!

You touch my life

Good morning! Boy did I get some R&R over the long weekend. Pretty much just lazed around. Did get some cards made, but no scrapbooking! Feel great! Rested and ready to go!

I was inspired by a card I saw on Inkadinkadoo's website. Remember Summer by the Sea? Still one of my favorite stamp set from SU. I embossed the image with BDP and used pencils to color the image. The flourish is from Autumn Leaves, it too is embossed as well as the words.

Thank you for stopping by gotta get a move on! Enjoy your day!

So Very

Good Morning! The morning is almost over!

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, I let life get in the way.

Don't like the way these colors photographed, just can't seem to get my lighting right. Finally I gave up and uploaded the best of several.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
